Hello guys let me introduce you with another holistic place in Jammu, that is BABA SIDHNATH GORIA temple. This temple is situated in SWANKHA VILLAGE near VIJAYPUR in SAMBA district of J&K. It is very popular temple and many people believe that its sarovar (pond) have many powers. SIDH BABA BALAK NATH JI, also known as the most gracious god in HINDUISM and incarnation of LORD KARTIKEYA in KALYUGA.





BABA SIDHGORIA JI was one of the disciple of GURU GORAKHNATH JI among others. In early 20th century ''NATH'' community came to north India under the leadership of GURU GORAKH NATH JI and here they started treating people who have suffered many diseases for multiple diseases, they use to tie raw thread and used holy soil(vibhuti) as a medicines. They preached the humanity in the area by saving a lots of lives and earned name and fame.


A big mela is organised every year which is celebrated as a festival here in this place. A week long annual fair ( mela) was oraganised by the BABA SIDH GORIA shrine on 16th june, 2019. Many politicians and other known people from all over the country to seek the blessings of BABA SIDH GORIA JI during the fairs. The holy water of the sarovar is considred as a pious as GANGAJAL. The larger number of devotees participates in the fair and take bath in the reserved pond. All departments like horticulture, agriculture, animal and sheep husbandry tourism, handicrafts, health, employements, sericulture, social welfare, etc. have installed their stalls on the occasion to make people aware about the schemes being implemented by them. 

   
BABA SIDHGORIA live with her mother MATHURA. BABA SIDHGORIA has great significance among devotees and people from state as well as from the other parts of the country. 
It is one of the best tourists  spot in JAMMU region. Its distance is about 31.5 km from JAMMU. You can reach here in an hour from Jammu city. This temple is always opened for the devotees. It is believed that BABA JI showers blessings on all the devotees who keep faith and confidence on this sacred place. On every fair that is mela the wrestling, in India we call it as KUSHTI and locally it is known as SHINJ which is organised by the shrine here which attracts thousands of wrestling lovers and other devotees.

                     RANBIRESHWAR TEMPLE Hi friends,                   My next most amazing experience is about RANBIRESHWAR TEMPLE. This temple is one of the most famous and biggest SHIV TEMPLE in Jammu. This temple was built by MAHARAJA RANBIR SINGH in 1883. It is very ancient shrine located in SHALIMAR road. This temple is decorated with the images of the LORD GANESHA, KARTIKEYA, NANDI BULL and highlight here is the mammoth 8 ft tall LORD SHIVA LINGAM which is made up of Black marble looming high in the sanctum of the temple.  This temple is enshrining 12 SHIVLINGS in crystal, measuring 15 cm to 38 cm and galleries with 1.25 lac 'bona lingam' which has  brought from NARMADA RIVER.                       RAGHUNATH TEMPLE Let me share my experience of the most precious place in Jammu region of J&K which is an HINDU TEMPLE. It is located in the jammu city. The place where this temple is situated is called RAGHUNATH BAZAR. It consist of 7 hindu shrines.  HISTORY                   RAGHUNATH TEMPLE was constructed by MAHARAJA GULAAB SINGH in the year 1835 and later his son MAHARAJA RANBIR SINGH completed its construction in the year 1860. This temple has many gods but the presiding deity is LORD RAMA or RAGHUNATH, an avatar of LORD VISHNU.
