Hi friends, 
                  Today i am gonna share my memorable experience of my life about the international border between INDIA AND PAKISTAN which in SUCHETGARH area of JAMMU district of J&K. The main city near this place is RANBIR SINGH PURA(RS PURA) which is one of the biggest area of JAMMU region. SUCHETGARH is developed as tourism spot by the tourism department of JAMMU AND KASHMIR. The SUCHETGARH BORDER post is 28 km from the main JAMMU city. The road to NAI BASTI-GULABGARH from JAMMU follows the train route as it existed prior to 1947 and a number of old buildings can be seen on the way. 



The SUCHETGARH post is 11 km from SIALKOT which is in PAKISTAN and also 141 km from LAHORE and this information is written on the block which is installed near the internal gate. There is Pakistani post near one the PAKISTAN side of border the name of the post is INAYAT POST which is 230 m from the Indian post.



Several times this tourism spot remain closed because of cross border firing. The cross border firing often happens on the Jammu and Kashmir border which also makes the effect on this post. There is a tree inside which is  exactly in the centre of INDIA AND PAKISTAN. The id proof is required to enter in the spot without id proof  the entry is prohibited. The canteen facility is also available there on the spot. The canteen is on the main entrance of the gate. The BORDER SECURITY FORCE provide there personels as a guide to the people who visit there.

RANBIRESHWAR TEMPLE

                     RANBIRESHWAR TEMPLE Hi friends,                   My next most amazing experience is about RANBIRESHWAR TEMPLE. This temple is one of the most famous and biggest SHIV TEMPLE in Jammu. This temple was built by MAHARAJA RANBIR SINGH in 1883. It is very ancient shrine located in SHALIMAR road. This temple is decorated with the images of the LORD GANESHA, KARTIKEYA, NANDI BULL and highlight here is the mammoth 8 ft tall LORD SHIVA LINGAM which is made up of Black marble looming high in the sanctum of the temple.  This temple is enshrining 12 SHIVLINGS in crystal, measuring 15 cm to 38 cm and galleries with 1.25 lac 'bona lingam' which has  brought from NARMADA RIVER.                       RAGHUNATH TEMPLE Let me share my experience of the most precious place in Jammu region of J&K which is an HINDU TEMPLE. It is located in the jammu city. The place where this temple is situated is called RAGHUNATH BAZAR. It consist of 7 hindu shrines.  HISTORY                   RAGHUNATH TEMPLE was constructed by MAHARAJA GULAAB SINGH in the year 1835 and later his son MAHARAJA RANBIR SINGH completed its construction in the year 1860. This temple has many gods but the presiding deity is LORD RAMA or RAGHUNATH, an avatar of LORD VISHNU. The walls of this temple are decorated with 300 icons of god and godesses including SURYA AND LORD SHIVA.
