                                  PATNITOP 

The another most precious and wonderful experience of my life is the tour of PATNITOP which is the best tourist place. PATNITOP is on hilltop and its location is in UDHAMPUR district of J&K on JAMMU- SRINAGAR HIGHWAY  its distance is about 112 from JAMMU. It is situated on a plateau in the SHIVALIK belt of the himalayas.


PATNITOP is famous for its beautiful sceneries all around. People can enjoy the experience of paragliding, skiing, etc. in PATNITOP. The original name of PATNITOP. The original name of PATNITOP is ''PATAN DA TALAB'' means pond of the princess.





Near PATNITOP, there is also a NAAG (COBRA) temple is very old which is more than 600 years old. Hundreds of LORD SHIVA devotees visit there during NAAGPANCHMI festival to pay respect and worship the NAAG king. Nearby PATNITOP, there is small town KUDH whose sweet shops are very famous i.e. PATISA, CHOCLATE BARFI, etc. and Batote is known as place for quality rajma. There are also a huge number of hotels in PATNITOP. 


PATNITOP is a beautiful picnic spot where we can feel the fresh atmosphere all around. PATNITOP  is located at an altitude of 2024 m. Dec-March is the perfect time to give a visit in PATNITOP to experience the scenic beauty of the snow capped mountains and enjoy the skiing activity. All trekking routes are also open in summer season while some are open in winter too. Month of may-june  and sept. - october are best suited for paragliding. Other aero sports like parasailing and hot airbaloon are also enjoyable for the visitors. 


Few kilometers away from PATNITOP, there is most attractive place called NATHATOP. It is situated at a distance of 14 km from PATNITOP. It has an altitude of about 2711 m. This hill station is covered with snow during winter. People from other country travel to experience the beauty of this place. NATHATOP has become very famous for its paragliding and skiing. It has pleasant climate. It is very peaceful place away from the fast moving and crowded lives of the city. It is a most visited place for the nature lovers and those who  love to enjoy the snow and serenity of the place. According my experience, both are wonderful and most attractive places.

RANBIRESHWAR TEMPLE

                     RANBIRESHWAR TEMPLE Hi friends,                   My next most amazing experience is about RANBIRESHWAR TEMPLE. This temple is one of the most famous and biggest SHIV TEMPLE in Jammu. This temple was built by MAHARAJA RANBIR SINGH in 1883. It is very ancient shrine located in SHALIMAR road. This temple is decorated with the images of the LORD GANESHA, KARTIKEYA, NANDI BULL and highlight here is the mammoth 8 ft tall LORD SHIVA LINGAM which is made up of Black marble looming high in the sanctum of the temple.  This temple is enshrining 12 SHIVLINGS in crystal, measuring 15 cm to 38 cm and galleries with 1.25 lac 'bona lingam' which has  brought from NARMADA RIVER.                       RAGHUNATH TEMPLE Let me share my experience of the most precious place in Jammu region of J&K which is an HINDU TEMPLE. It is located in the jammu city. The place where this temple is situated is called RAGHUNATH BAZAR. It consist of 7 hindu shrines.  HISTORY                   RAGHUNATH TEMPLE was constructed by MAHARAJA GULAAB SINGH in the year 1835 and later his son MAHARAJA RANBIR SINGH completed its construction in the year 1860. This temple has many gods but the presiding deity is LORD RAMA or RAGHUNATH, an avatar of LORD VISHNU. The walls of this temple are decorated with 300 icons of god and godesses including SURYA AND LORD SHIVA.
